HANDGUN: RETENTION AND DISARM TECHNIQUES
Instruction in tactics, techniques, and situational simulations concerning handgun retention and disarm techniques. Retention is a critical skill for anyone who carries a firearm; disarm techniques are critical for everyone! Learn how to prevent someone from taking your weapon. Learn how to deal with someone who has a weapon trained on you: Before you can access your weapon, you must employ "empty hand" techniques to deal with the immediate threat (e.g., gun to your chest). Krav Maga has simple and effective techniques to deal with a wide array of problems. TRAINING TOPICS INCLUDE: Carrying your weapon; retaining your holstered weapon; dealing with gun threats trained at different locations on your body (e.g., chest, back, etc.).
